Industrial and Innovation

Modern technology should be integrated into all sectors in Sri Lanka. Outdated methods should be replaced with machinery that enables faster and more efficient production. It is essential to remember that these machines can be developed within Sri Lanka itself.

The government must take responsibility for encouraging innovators by providing:

1. Bank Loans – Financial support to develop and implement innovative technologies.
    
2. Mental Motivation – Encouragement and recognition to inspire creative minds to contribute to national development.
3.  Technical and Resource Support – Providing access to necessary resources, research facilities, and expert guidance to help innovators develop and refine their creations. 
4.  Market Access and Promotion – Assisting innovators in bringing their products to the market through government support, local and international trade opportunities, and promotional initiatives. 
5.  Research and Development (R&D) Facilities – Establishing dedicated R&D centers to support innovation, testing, and the advancement of new technologies within the country. 
6.  Collaboration with Educational Institutions – Encouraging partnerships between innovators, universities, and technical colleges to foster knowledge exchange, skill development, and the practical application of new technologies. 
7.  Incentives and Grants – Providing financial incentives, subsidies, and grants to support research, innovation, and the development of new technologies, ensuring that innovators have the necessary funds to bring their ideas to fruition. 
8.  Protection of Intellectual Property – Implementing strong intellectual property laws to safeguard the ideas and innovations of creators, ensuring they are rewarded for their contributions and encouraging further innovation. 
9.  Infrastructure Development – Investing in modern infrastructure, such as reliable transportation, communication networks, and energy systems, to support the efficient production, distribution, and scaling of innovative technologies. 
10.  Public Awareness and Education – Promoting the importance of innovation through public campaigns and educational programs, fostering a culture of creativity, entrepreneurship, and technological advancement across all levels of society.
